AJ Art Studio Tips Featuring Chocolate4Froggy!
Question One:
What are your most used tools when creating a masterpiece?
“I use the spray tool the most. All sizes of dots, but mostly the finer dots.”
Question Two:
What steps do you take when creating a masterpiece?
“I outline what I want to draw, usually with the fine spray tool. Then I start filling in with blobs of color. It looks quite ugly at that stage, and I usually want to quit the piece. But, I keep going along and keep adding details with the finer spray tips until the painting is refined.”
Question Three:
What are some of your favorite things to draw on AJ?
“Paintings, and realistic animals!”
Question Four:
What are some tips you'd give to an AJ Art Studio beginner?
“Use the smudge tool very sparingly! (It's a terrible feature). You think it will blend your colors nicely, but in reality it makes it a smeary mess. If you want to blend colors, one of the larger spray dots work better. Just use similar colors and keep going over the area with large dots!”
Question Five:
What's your favorite masterpiece you've done?
“I have several paintings that I am very proud of, but since I am so fond of pink, I like the pink and grey house and my pink flamingo pieces the best!”
An Important Message From Froggy:
“The other thing I want to mention is that many artists are having trouble with the new classic desktop app connecting with their tablets. I personally use a mouse, and am not familiar with how drawing tablets work with AJ Art Creation. But, I am unable to use the desktop version for a different reason.
On Google Chrome and the desktop version both, my spray dot tool is so jittery that I can't make any type of smooth lines. It ends up looking like I painted some type of grid or waffle weave pattern.”
“So, I am using the Mozilla Firefox Web Browser to paint in AJ Classic. I am worried about when Adobe Flash stops working, if I will continue to paint. AJHQ is aware of the problems, and oddly, not all artists experience the same issues. So it must be different on different computers and tablets. But, so far, they have not been able to fix it.”
“Mozilla firefox works fairly smoothly for me to paint in AJ right now, but I am curious as to what AJ art will look like after 2020 is over. Hugs from Froggy!”
Hopefully this article helped you with creating masterpieces on AJ Classic! With that said: Stay safe, Be pawsitive, and Jam On!
