Don't Trust These Scams!
**If you aren't a part of the AJ community on Instagram, the following may not apply to you**
If you are a part of the Animal Jam community on Instagram, you may have heard of these "AJ Like Challenges." This is supposedly when you ask a person "how many likes for an item" and if you reach a certain number of likes on a post by a certain time, they will give you the item. Odds are that the people hosting these challenges actually will not give you the item you requested.
But wait! Aren't there some people who are honest? Surely there are some amazing people in the community who will stay true to their word. However, it's best to not trust these altogether.
Why? The people hosting these challenges pretty much gain free publicity. Sure, giving someone shoutouts on social media doesn't hurt, but using them via trickery into getting free likes and followers is not okay. They could easily turn this account into something else without anyone's consent. Be sure to be aware while using social media on the internet.
Even more importantly, if you see an account that claims to have/be a "free item generator" REPORT IT and BLOCK IT immediately, just as you would do on Animal Jam itself. AJ item generators do not comply to the Animal Jam Rules, which you can see for yourself here.
Remember to stay safe on social media, Animal Jam, the internet in general, and in real life. Never give your information to anyone except for a trusted parent/guardian IRL.
