In 2015, Animal Jam’s mobile game, Animal Jam Play Wild (AJPW) came out to the public. Many were very skeptical to join because they were already devoted to AJ’s website game. Even now, almost five years later, many still haven’t played this game. But today, I’m going to explain some of the cool features within this game, and how linked AJPW and AJPC are!

To start off, AJPW is ultimately a 3D version of AJPC. You can sign in with your username from AJPC, and vise versa. Although you don’t get to have all of your items from AJPC, there are a lot more decorating and customization options with this game being on mobile devices. For example, artists that don’t have a fold-able laptop/ flash tablet have a harder time creating masterpieces on AJPC. But in AJPW, you can play on tablets, phones, or anything that has the Google Play or Apple Store.

A lot of the features of AJPC are included in AJPW, like trading, dens, shopping, buddies, parties, etc. AJPW also has many other incredible features like a daily treasure hunt with some cool prizes, the ability to change the clothing on your pets and take them off, different mini games with prizes, etc. The only major differences are that some of the lands-like the ocean lands- that you’d find in AJPC don’t exist in AJPC.

AJPW is a game that you can take on the go. For example, in the car! It’s great for if you want to play AJ, but don’t have WiFi for a laptop, but you have data. Lots of jammers play both versions of the game, including many well-known YouTubers like Elipsity and Shopking. AJPW has more creative options for content creators, which is why many have either made a switch or have decided to play both.

Animal Jam Play Wild has many great perks, like different items, games, and activities you can’t do in Animal Jam PC. If you’re thinking about giving AJPW ago, the staff here on the AJA strongly encourages you to do so! Just because you join the AJPW community doesn’t mean you have to leave the AJPC community.
