Chomper Plants

A venus flytrap-resembling plant originally created by Cosmo as a tool to help fight against the Phantoms. They are equipped with spores that are capable of detecting the presence of Phantoms, allowing them to target Phantoms instead of animals, although they are only capable of trapping a single Phantom before disappearing into the ground. Chomper clams and the unofficially named “Underground chompers” are variants of the Chomper plant that behave exactly the same, but have different appearances.

Mechachompers

An invention created by Graham that improves upon the default Chomper plant. Upon being repaired by a gear, it is capable of trapping Phantoms an infinite amount of times and will not disappear after use.

Boomseeds

Durian-resembling seeds originally created by Cosmo as a tool to help fight against the Phantoms. They are designed to burst within seconds of being dropped or thrown. They grow on boomseed trees.

Paintseeds

Boomseed-resembling seeds originally created by Peck that improves upon the default Boomseed. While they function identically to boomseeds, paintseeds have a much larger area of effect and splatter paint when they burst.

Whirlpearls

Pearls harvested from a whirlpearl clam that when dropped or thrown underwater, unleash a small, yet powerful whirlpool that is capable of capturing Phantoms, functioning in a similar fashion to boomseeds. Their origins are stated to be unknown.

Light Blossom

A fruit produced by a bioluminescent fungus, found within the caverns where the Sunken City can be found. They are used in a similar fashion to boomseeds.

Heartstones

Special crystals that have on associated with every species in Jamaa. They contain the essence and secrets of the species they belong to, strengthening their connection to the land and to one another. They are a physical manifestation of the collective spirits of the animals, gifted to them by the universe. The Phantoms are able to use the power of the Heartstones to trap its entire species, causing it to vanish from Jamaa until the Heartstone is retrieved.

Alpha stones

Special crystals gifted to the Alphas by Mira and Zios. They are said to contain restorative properties that work with the natural world, and can also harness and amplify the unique powers of the Alphas. They were created by Mira and Zios by imbuing stones with a piece of their own power. The Alpha stones are most powerful when used in conjunction with one another.

Portal Crystals

Mysterious crystals found in Jamaa. For as long as anyone can remember, the magic these crystals contain have been used to power up and allow portals to function, creating doorways from one place to another. Their origins are stated to be unknown.

Lava Crystals

Mysterious crystals that contain the power of fire within them. Found deep within the Phantom Hive, they seem to have some connection to one of the many Phantom Kings.

Earth Crystals

Mysterious crystals that can be found in the small village where the Phantom Beacon was once hidden away in. It is unknown if they contain any power like other crystals, but the residents of the village find them beautiful and love trading for them.

Aqua Crystals

Mysterious crystals that contain the power of water within them. Found deep underwater, their power was used to free Tavie from the Phantoms.

Phantom Crystals

Strange crystals that contain an eerie energy. It is believed these crystals are the result of regular crystals becoming corrupted by the Phantoms. They are used by Greely to power his Phantom disguising machine.

Mira’s Feather

A feather that came from the Guardian Spirit Mira, kept hidden away in a buried shrine. One of the few remaining things left of the heron in Jamaa, it still glows with some of her power. It can be used to purify any land that has been corrupted by the Phantoms.

Glow Moths

A species of moth that inhabits the caverns where the Sunken City can be found. It is assumed that Zios left them within the cave to guide adventurers to the city, and they are said to hold a special power. They are attracted to the light produced by light blossom-illuminated crystals.

Phantom Beacon

A gemstone-resembling artifact that exposes the location of the Phantom Fortress to any onlookers. It was stolen from the Phantoms by Greely in his quest to learn more about the elusive fortress.
