What is WeForest?
WeForest is an organization that contributes to saving the planet by planting thousands of trees. They do this by having people donate money, and every £1/$1 donated plants one single tree.
How does this help our planet?
Trees are a huge part of our planet and they take in a lot of the Carbon Dioxide and release Oxygen. Carbon Dioxide is a very bad Greenhouse Gas and is harmful to our planet, and because we are chopping down so many of our trees more of it is being released into our atmosphere than ever before! By planting trees this means that less carbon dioxide will be released into the atmosphere and will make our air more clean and fresh, and could possibly save our lives.
Why did Animal Jam team up with WeForest?
Well, Animal Jam is an animal game and is made to teach young children about animals and ways we can save our planet. Therefore, WeForest is reaching a good audience of young people who can donate and learn about what they are doing to help our planet. This not only promotes their company but it promotes Animal Jam’s company too. So by this collaboration coming into place it helps boost the games educational part.
