Hey, Jammers! Today I'm going to be teaching you how to create a Garden and Bunny Village in the Mushroom Hut den! I’ll be focusing on the mushroom roof area, and the grassy lawn below it. Feel free to use some of the tips mentioned, but if you plan on copying this tutorial exactly and posting it, please give credit to the Archives!
The Mushroom Roof - Plants
Believe it or not, I actually used plants relatively sparingly in the beginning. I found that adding too many plants to this one area made it look over-saturated and unpleasant. However, after adding the den items, I added some more plants as a filler for undecorated patches.
The Mushroom Roof- Den Items
When adding den items to your garden, you don’t want to design it like a home with a table, sofa, chairs etc. Gardens look best with minimal den items, and when they are added, make sure that they fit with the outdoor theme. I added a Clover Bench for one seating area, and a Grey Mat, and a Welcome Mat for the other. You can also see appearances of the Trellis, Fire Pit, and various other small plants.
Mushroom Lawn
While decorating this, I took note of the fact that the Mushroom “House” was very tiny. Because of this, I decided that it would be a bunny theme! I included some Crocus flowers and a small potted plant near the door of the home. I also placed down a bunny statue, and next to it a wheelbarrow of carrots. Near the pond, I placed a bunny fence and two mats for my pet bunnies to sit at.
That’s all for today! I hope you found this article helpful and enjoyable! Also, make sure to leave a comment including what other Den DIYs you would like to see, and i’ll try my best to get to them! I’ll see you in the next one. Bye!!
