Hedge Hog & Spot On

Hey, Jammers! Today I will be walking you through the minigames Hedge Hog and Spot on! If you have any questions, make sure to ask them in the comments! I’ll try and respond as soon as possible. Without further ado, let’s get into the guide!

Hedge Hog

Hedge Hog is definitely one of my all time favorites. It’s simple, easy, and quite addictive if I’m being honest. Here’s a few of my tips, tricks, and facts you may have not considered while playing!

  • Diamonds- See the little purple diamonds floating about? You shouldn’t ignore those! The diamonds can be used to turn a phantom from evil to good. In its evil (grey) state, the phantoms will try their hardest to defeat you, the hedgehog. In its good (gold) stage, you can defeat them! However, there is a limit as to how many you may use. Make sure to use them sparingly!

  • Tomatoes- the tomatoes are by far the most important thing to consider while playing. If you didn’t know, in order to win, you must collect all of the tomatoes. This means that you must figure out a way to “outsmart” or work your way around the phantoms. It’s quite difficult at first, but your skill will come with time!

  • Fun Fact! Hedge Hog was actually modeled after the old game PacMan. PacMan has decreased in popularity over time, though it’s fun nonetheless! If you want to relive some nostalgia, Hedge Hog is definitely the game for you. Also, this isn’t the first nerdy reference hidden around Jamaa! Can you spot them all? I must say, Fruit Slinger looks a lot like Angry Birds… hmm.

Spot On

Now, when planning for this minigame guide I had no idea what to write for this one. But then, I realized that I could create a description for a bunch of animals! So… that’s what I’ll do!

  • MAMMALS

  • Donkey- The Donkey is typically greyish brown with black streaks. They can be found in grassy, yellow environments. A close-up picture would most likely look like hay.

  • Goat- the goat can be brown, white, grey, or black. They have short, stubby hairs. They can be found in grassy, brown, green, and grey environments.

  • Cat- The cat in Spot On is first viewed with a bluish-grey background. Its fur is white and grey. There is another cat that is brown and white with a white background.

  • REPTILES / AMPHIBIANS

  • Turtle- the turtle is green and brown. The shell appears to be hard and smooth. Its body is green and scaly. It will most likely have a swampy or green background.

  • Lizard- the lizard can look almost like anything, but the thing to look out for is its small shape and scaly complexion. Can be found on any background.

  • Frog- Much like the lizard, it can come in any color. Look out for the scaly, wet skin and odd body shape. This amphibian can be found on almost any background.

  • BIRDS

  • Duck- the duck is typically seen as brown or white. They are most likely found in wet, swampy areas or in the grass. Some ducks may have green on them.

  • Hummingbird- The hummingbird has extremely fast moving wings that are seen in pictures. They typically can be found in colorful, lush environments.

  • Heron- The Heron has long legs and grey feathers. Some have blue colors, this would be called the Blue Heron. They can be found in swampy backgrounds.

  • BUGS

  • Honeybee- The honeybee has small hairs on its black and yellow body. In pictures, they can often be seen on a flower, pollinating it. They also have black antenna.

  • Cockroach- Cockroaches are brown with a hard shell. They have numerous, thin legs. They can be found in essentially any background, but they’re easy to spot!

  • Ladybug- The ladybug is very recognizable with its red body and black spots. However, they can also have yellow, orange, and sometimes green bodies.

  • MARINE LIFE

  • Dolphin- the dolphin is quite sleek with a grey, smooth body. It can be found in an ocean environment, but they’re easily recognizable for their beautiful color.

  • Otter- Otters have brown, scraggly fur and black eyes. They can be found in an ocean or land environment, but since this is marine life, it’ll probably be in the water.

  • Shark- Much like the dolphin, the shark is grey. It is most recognizable for its terrifying fin, which will most likely be poking out of the water in the photo.

Thank you for reading these minigame guides! I hope you found them quite useful, and I apologize for the vagueness in the animal description. Nonetheless, I hope you learned a little bit about both of these lovely games. With all that being said, I’ll see you next week! Bye!
